I'm new to the Davenport area. I live on Ronald Reagan Parkway near to where it joins 17-92. I'm looking for golf courses which are not too expensive as I play 2 or 3 times a week and can't afford the prices of Championsgate and Reunion which are close by. The course doesn't have to be too fancy, just reasonably priced, maybe in the $30 range, and not too far out of the area since gas prices are a consideration also.
Any body out there who can recommend anything, since I'm fairly new to the area and haven't found my way around yet.
Thanks.

The only one I can think of is Kissimmee Golf Club. It's not too far and its a public course that has the best prices(20-40). It is not the fanciest place though but it has an amazing staff. Here's a link: Kissimmee Golf Club (http://www.kissgolfclub.com/content.php?link=home.php - broken link)

A lot of courses in the area have specials if you go after a certain time of the day. I know Remington does and its a great course also.

The best course around for the price would be Kissimmee Oaks Golf Club. The course is great and the prices are not too bad (around 50). Here's a link to them: Kissimmee Oaks Golf Club (http://www.kissimmeeoaksgolf.com/index.html - broken link)

Both courses are 20 minutes from where you are at.

The Oaks has a special right now with there card which cost $5 then your rounds are $25 the course is in much better shape than remington or kissimmee bay. Also there is a new place called Providence on 17-92 towards Davenport they are about $45.
