Default Reasonable rent around International Drive/?Good pay for waitresses

I have a daughter wanting to move to the Orlando area to pursue a career in cosmetology. She plans to go to school and work as a waitress. She's knows nothing about Orlando except for a 3 day trip to visit her friend. We have been looking on line for apts. and they seem to be very expensive to rent, and I'm not sure the restaraunt business is viable even in Fl. She certainly hasn't made money here. Can anyone tell me decent zip codes to look at between 32819 and 32707 and places to avoid. I am trying to convince her to leave in between the two places that she will be frequenting. Any advice would definitely be appreciated and welcomed. With young adults they don't readily want to hear parental views or ideas but would like to know for myself the safest areas so I can possibly guide her with this "new idea." Thanks for any help.

Restaurants are generally doing well in the I Drive and Lake Buena Vista areas. The restaurants in some of the surburban areas are closing and not doing as well. When I moved here from the west coast, I was shocked how busy restaurants and shopping malls are from where I moved from, so she should be okay. She would probably be a lot better off with a roomate in a nicer apartment than on her own.
I am going to post the zip codes I used from a prior post so I do not have to list them off again, just one second...

Thank you so much, Willshire, for the info! I would prefer a roommate however she is not comfortable living with someone she doesn't know. I will keep the zips in mind! Anything else you can think of would be appreciative!

My daughters moved here and landed jobs off of I drive the first day here. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from. They work on "Restaurant Row" which just means the restaurants along Sand Lake Rd (near I-drive). There are many too choose from. I will have to say in hindsight, you might want to have your daughter apply to the high end Disney resturants instead. The convention crowd really does dictate how well these restaurants do. Right now, it's slow season and my daughter is complaining how slow it is and that making $50 - 150 a night sucks. I would imagine the Disney properties are busy 365 days a year.

Hope that helps and PM me if you'd like more information.

What's bad about 32822? That's where I live near the less vista area. I've stayed here for almost a year and it's really nice & quiet. Matter of fact I'm so happy here I'm looking forward to renewing my lease in Sept.

Because that area code includes the south semoran area and that area is known for high crime.

You can`t really go by zip codes because of the fact some zips can have upscale and ghettos.

Most zip codes do have good and bad areas. I do not like most of the areas along Semoran and Goldenrod and in between. Once you get the Vista Lakes area, it changes to 32829.
