Boston, absolutely Boston. Do not move to this city or the area. Boston has history, culture and a sense of place. It's a beautiful and vibrant city, and this place has none of the above.

We moved here five years ago and have been sorry ever since. The wages are so low its almost laughable if it wasn't so sad. Does not matter if you have a degree or years of experience in a field...you will get 1970's wages. My wife has a degree in nursing, RN-BSN, and the best she was offered was $16 hr.

I hope you get my drift and take mine and the advice of many on this forum to choose Boston over this area...you will be so glad you did.

If you people hate Orlando so much, then PLEASE LEAVE and take your bad attitude with you! Those of us born here will be glad to have our city back. I sure those of you who hate it here moved from some Northeastern hell hole thinking they'd come to paradise.

The grass is always greener on the other side.

Without a doubt-Boston! One of the greatest cities in the country. I miss it every day and PP if we could sell this place we would move back to MA/NH.

I think it is just that. There are a lot of people living in Orlando on this forum that may be unhappy in their current state, so Boston looks like a better place to be. More money, better education, better culture, better economy. There is also a plus side to Orlando to keep in mind, climate, taxes, entertainment, beaches, etc. It really is a preference. I am not going to say Boston or Orlando is some garbage pile just because I prefer one and make blanket statements about either one. They each have their advantages and disadvantages. I just prefer to visit areas like the NE and not live there mainly because of the weather, but I would not say either is a better place to live. A lot goes into that statement.

As you very well know, I call em malcontents. I do think Boston would be a better place for the OP, but I totally agree with wilshire. No I don't really like Orlando either and I am vocal about it but I try not to bash it for hours upon end, and it's still the right place for many people.

Absolutely ridiculous comparison. Boston is worth of comparison to world class cities and some of the best cities in the country. Orlando wouldn't exist as a city, in fact it had a population of about 50K people, pre-disney. Orlando is urban congested cookie cutter sprawl in proximaty to Disney world. I went to Disney World last year and was in complete shock over how utterly detestable Orlando is. I would suggest anyone that even dare make such a laughable comparison actually belongs in Orlando!!!! Also the fact that 48 of 50 people in an Orlando forum picked Boston aught to speak volumes about what even the residents of Orlando (those that picked being there) think. They seem to despise it. If the same thing was posted on a Boston forum, I would be shocked if anyone picked Orlando unless they just absolutely hated any cold weather and made their choose just based on that.
