My husband and i both work in these areas and I am trying to get an idea of how much daycare runs for one child. I am just looking for a general amount. We are planning on starting a family in the next year and i want to see if it is worth it for me to continue working or if all my money would go to a daycare. Thanks in advance for any info!!

I pay a little less than $1,000/month. That's for fulltime, 7 AM to 5 PM for a 16 month old. It's expensive, but I'm paying for the convenience of a daycare downtown. You could get one outside of the city center for less.
