We fly into Orlando next month to go on a Cruise and stay a few extra days after the Cruise. Wife has been in FL and on a Cruise, but not me. Will see how much I like Orlando during the visit. We just feel that the weather there will be better for our bones/muscles than the weather here (even w/their "mild" winters here). Have been here almost 1 yr. We are 59/60 yrs. old.
Just make sure you go beyond the general airport/ SE area and see Lake Nona, Belle Isle and downtown and Winter Park at the very least. If all you see is the general area around the airport, then you may not get the best impression. If you have more time, you should branch out to the Northside and Oviedo or the SW areas by Dr Phillips and Windermere to get a more thorough idea of everything the area offers.
