I like it, it is quieter then alot of other beaches i have been to. But it is not destin if thats what you are expecting and not miami beach either but its not bad and fairly clean.

No, people probably go about finding out about strip clubs and gay areas via other means. I think Central Florida is pretty open to a lot of things.

There is a large gay population in Thorton Park near Lake Eola. I love the shops and restaraunts in that area.

The Vimi district is the Vietnamese area at the intersection of 50(Colonial Drive) and Mills Avenue.

cocoa bch is ok, but not impressive, imo. it isn't exactly ugly, but it aint st augustine or pvb. but it is more appealing than daytona bch.

You need a car throughout Florida except a few places that come to mind. You might be alright without a car in St. Pete. It seems much more compact than areas like Orlando and Jax. If you live in Miami you might be able to get around without a car.
