Low wages in are state are often discussed on this board. I'd like to know how many would agree that $20+ an hour is good money in Florida?

Many in Florida would die for that kind of salary.

How much sweeter would that be if one was single with no kids making 20-24 an hour.

I am single, no kids, split bills with my significant other making about $19/hour + right now. I live comfortably, but after school is done hope to make much more. I still don't think I make a lot and wouldn't until I make about 50-60k to cross that barrier.

I think it is great if you are really making that income. Why dont you post a pay stub so we can all stop doubting it? Is this a sales job with a projected income of 20-24 an hour?

Just out of curiosity, why would you ask for a paystub....nowhere did the OP state that this is what he/she made. |

LOL, because if he is making that, I want to know where?

Ok got it...I didn't take it that he was bragging about what he makes, I thought he was just asking.
And if you get onto the Local governments...city, county or state you CAN make that in a few years. You just have to put in your time. Last edited by Kali's Grandma; 08-01-2008 at 09:03 AM.. |

Many people on this board make much more than that is my guess. Anyone with bachelor or advanced degrees in a profession would surely be making much more even here in Florida, LOL. At least everyone I know - even the teachers. When you consider all our time off, we make considerably more - plus great benefits.
