Default Private School vs Public in Windermere Area. Please Help!

Hi there. I have been researching for what seems like days on the different public schools and now private schools in the Windermere area (we are thinking Keene's Pointe) near Orlando Florida. Trying to prepare myself if this pending transfer comes thru!

We are from Canada and can say that the public schools here are top notch and most children attend public rather then private. I know my kids are receiving a fantastic well rounded education and that they are safe and happy. I also know they will feed into top quality high schools and be able to pick the University of their choice.

OK Finally to my question! From reading the boards private schools are often suggested to parents if they want their children to get that highly coveted education. Is this true? Do I need to put my children into a private school to ensure they get a great education including exposure to the arts and quality athletics. I need t know I am not limiting their choices if they want to one day attend an Ivy League school.

Please help! Don't hesitate to personally select your favorite schools for me. Any information is appreciated.

KEENES POINTE, is a very desirable subdivision.

You are zoned for these schools, I am not sure what their ratings are...

WINDERMERE ELEMENTARY
BRIDGEWATER MIDDLE
WEST ORANGE HIGH

I live close by, but my school zonning is different.
