Moving: two question (Winter Garden, Windermere: apartment complex, travel, work)

Is area around towncenter blvd and landstar blvd , south orlando area a relatively safe place?

On google maps I see that Central Florida Greenway is a toll road. How much would it cost to get to Disney from the place mentioned above?

I have never heard of any crime problems in that area. I actually really like that area. I don't know if it is changing for the worst like a lot of sections in that area but for now it is very nice. Regarding the toll road, 417 The Greenway, it would probably cost around $2 to get to Disney. If you travel a little south and get on Osceola Parkway it is a straight shot to Disney and it is a little cheaper than the 417 ($1.50 I believe).

I was just in the Hunter's Creek area yesterday to meet someone before going to Disney. It is a $1.00 toll if you take the International Drive Exit and go to Disney via World Drive.

As far as safety, I haven't heard of any recent bad news in the area.

Towncenter area=good


landstar area=not as good more of a Noisy type crowd lives in the landstar area, Remember BVL is down the road and that is a sketchy area some of the apartment complexs look like projects.

I agree about the Landstar area that backs up close to BVL but this area is far away enough that it isn't effect..yet at least. It also has good schools if the OP has children.

Im wondering is your journey to Disney a daily commute for work or just an entertainment journey, because if its a daily commute, why dont you consider areas of Winter Garden/Windermere which are very reasonably priced and cut the cost of your commute
