i cant believe, that where we live currently, in a $300k and up neighborhood, i need a fence to keep ppl from walking in my backyard AND i need to protect my dogs from the neighbors on the corners (blasting their rap and raggeton music ) who has their pitbulls that arent even on leashes raoming around in their driveway!!! WTH?
it seems like in orlando, and a lot of places in fla for that matter, you can buy in an area that you THINK will be riff-raff free, but you cant seem to get away from it. why do people think they can do these things? we never had this problem in another state we lived in. sometimes i regret moving back to fla. if i could get my family up to the area where i used to live, i'd do it in a second. but back to original topic, what the hell is up with the people residing in orlando? why do they feel like they can do these things??? i wont even begin to mention how the people speed in this 25mph zone and park anywhere they want to (even in front of other peoples houses!!!) |

What are you going to do if you move to North Carolina and your neighbors blast music there too? Don't be a part of the problem, be a part of the solution and start by contacting your HOA if you have one or police/code enforcement if you don't. That's the biggest problem with Orlando and Florida; people just either deal with it or throw in the towel, no sense of place at all. People in other places tend to work to solve problems in their neighborhoods instead of run away from them, but if it's "Florida", for some reason that's considered unacceptable and it's time to move! What causes this?
If all else fails, then of course, move, that neighborhood is done, but you have to give to get if you haven't already. |

its an orlando problem specifically, but i havent completely given up on northern fla. i guess b/c its so expensive to live in most of fla, (some folks who you wouldnt normally live by in say, kentucky), get in too, even if you think it will be riff raff free,

Orlando is a riff-raff magnet. All the riff-raff from other states sell their tiny homes in the ghetto (for large amounts of money) and then come to Orlando and buy into upper middle class neighborhoods. Most of the riff-raff you see in these neighborhoods purchased their homes in the 90's when they were dirt cheap.

"Orlando is a riff-raff magnet."
it definitely seems that way, i didnt want to say it, but it truly does. and sadly, i think it will get worse. |

If you have dogs, you should have a fence regardless...
I quick call to animal control would take care of your problem. I wonder if they were playing rock n' roll, would things be different? What does riff-raff mean? Riff Raff (band), a UK progressive rock band Riff Raff (cat), an alley cat in the animated series The Catillac Cats Riff Raff (hunchback), a character in the musical play The Rocky Horror Show Riff Raff (magazine), a London-based monthly rock magazine Riff Raff (punk rock), a band formed by Billy Bragg "Riff Raff" (song), a song by AC/DC Riff Raff (Underdog), a character on the television series Underdog Riff-Raff, a 1990 British film Riffraff (1936 film), an American drama film Riffraff (1947 film), a black-and-white international espionage film Riffraff (social class), the common people Oh, it must be the common people... |

yes, what makes me mad specifically is the raggeton, otherwise i'd tell them to let their pitbulls run wild like the wind, jemelb. wow. anyway, it is usually the ones playing the rap and raggeton that have the pitbulls. atleast it is the case where i live in orlando. it probably doesnt differ anywhere else, it is a cultural thing.
riff raff is a song by ac/dc. |
