Need Immigration Help (Orlando: hotel, work, home)

We are very intersted in moving to Florida to live and work. There is myself, my husband, and our 2 sons(5 and 8yrs old). I have worked in the hotel industry for 9 yrs and also have most of my hotel management diploma from our local college. My husbnad has worked as a machinist in the tool and mold industry for 14yrs. We are complete Canadian citizens with no means to get citizenship through our parents, etc. and we would like to know how start the process. Thank you.

Hotel industry - Google J-1 visas - it's short-term though but they're arguably a low-effort and low-risk choice.

E-2 for buying or starting your own business, but in the current economy? Requires capital too. Does not lead to Permanent residency either.

Investment visa if you have lots to spend....

check this website out: USCIS Home Page It should help answer a lot of questions. I worked with a guy from Canada for a few years. He hated the hot weather in Florida. He just couldn't get use to it. Last I heard he settled in Seattle, Washington after his "mistake" of having moved to the sauna known as Florida.

you would need to take a course in basic Spanish if you want to get around here i just found out most companies in Orlando like you Bilingual
