I've searched the forum quite a bit before asking. We're going to be staying in temporary housing near Lockheed on Sand Lake Rd. Can anyone kindly recommend some good restaurants that it is okay to bring little kids to? I hate to ruin people's dinner with my kids who can get somewhat loud in restaurants
So *family friendly* is important. So far, I am thinking of Texas de Brazil, Kobe Steakhouse and Tijuana Flats. Any other good restaurants in the area we will be? Also, if there are any nice, safe parks/playgrounds for kids in that area, I'd appreciate that info also. Thanks in advance!! |

I think a lot of restaurants in the area are conducive to children. It is Orlando. I think one of Orlando's biggest strengths is that it is very acoomodating to children. We have a Nickolodeon hotel!
I think that Kobe is a great place to go if you do not want to worry about noise. Tijuana Flats is fast food, so I think you are also safe there. Some other noisy kid friendly places are: Buca di Beppo, Cafe Tu Tu Tango, Bubba Gump and the like. I have only been to Texas de Brazil once for a company party and really liked their food, but it was quieter when I went. It was also in the afternoon, not for dinner. I think other people will be able to help with how kid friendly they are in particular. |
