Default 3 Days at Disney with a 5 year old....

My wife and I will have 3 days to take our son to Disney World in the early spring.
We want to know what is a must and what is not.
We think that MGM is probably not perfect for a 5 year old. Should we spend an entire day at Epcot with a 5 year old or stick to 1 1/2 days each at AK and MK?

I agree, Epcot would bore a 5 year old. I have a 5 year old and he likes Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom, he thinks MGM is o.k.

I think MGM (now Hollywood Studios) is great for a 5 year old. They have that new Toy Story ride, Playhouse Disney show, Honey I shrunk the kids playground and a lot of other great things just for that age.

So if you have three days then I would suggest a day at MGM, Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. My kids don't really enjoy Epcot.

I agree, our then 4 year old enjoyed MGM. She loved the Muppets 3D movie. (that's always one of my favorites too) And she tried the Tower of Terror but said she didn't want to do it again. Plus they have the new Toy Story ride and several good shows.

She also LOVED Soarin in Epcot. I would at least try to do that. I didn't think it was all that amazing, but she did. I don't think she was all that impressed with AK. She thought dinosaur was scary. But she did love the rapids ride. And she wasn't tall enough for Expedition Everest, but she will be next time and will probably love that one.
