it`s still raining!
The only good thing I can say is that it has been in the 70`s for three days and thats a rarity for Florida in the summer. |

And it's still raining!!!!
We lost power last night but it was only for a couple hours. My brother is in Winter Springs and spend the night sandbagging his garage which is flooding. Mom up in Zellwood is fine. Have BIL in Ocoee and has a tree leaning on his house. All in all it's not as bad as it is/was on the coast and what is coming towards those who live along the St Johns. Stay inside if you can, fix some hot cocoa(or whatever!) curl up with a book and ride it out. I hope all in the affected area fair well and dry out soon! |

Isn't it great to wake up to bright sunshine today! I've gotten spoiled - I guess because we have so many sunny days throughout the year. Even in the summer with our daily showers, we still usually wake up to sunshine. It feels great! I pray this helps dry everyone out quickly.

Hi,
I am worried as i just heard a big sound in my house and had found out it is due to tile cracking in my kitchen floor. the crack is diagonal along 10 tiles on the floor. we had hurricane fay hit three days ago in Orlando. apart from the tiles we even saw that carpet is wet as it had absorbed water from the concrete floor underneath as we have cracks on the walls. we have concrete foundation and i am thinking there may be any change of foundation have cracks and in that case what we have to do ? the house is built in 2006 and we have structural warranty on the house. what we have to talk to builder and do we have to see any lawyer for that. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated ! |
