Default Is Lake Debra Dr, off Hiawassee, considered Metrowest?

Is this area considered a 'bad' area? I've seen several posts about Metrowest being one of the areas to stay away from, but we haven't encountered anything bad so far. Just wondering if there is something I should be aware of or be careful of.

We're staying in temporary housing in this area until we find a house.

Thanks!

That is because people like to generalize. Metro West is susceptible to crime but the area along Kirkman and north is the only area I would say is "bad". I like the areas along Hiawassee and further west more than the area along Kirkman.

Thanks! The area seems nice where we are, so I was just wondering if I was missing something. Maybe I need to be here longer, but I just don't see all the negativity that some people go on and on about.

Metro west is bordered by some high crime neighborhoods so it`s not the metro west is bad but criminals and dope heads from the ghettos come over into that area and commit crimes.
