Poinciana/Kissimmee should I move here (Miami, Orlando: real estate, jobs, housing)

Hah!! Who is not Puerto Rican or Mexican and carry the PR or Mexican flags in their cars and put them up on thier homes??? Yes, Cuban and PR flags are almos identical and they can confuse you sometimes, but after 15+ years, I can tell the difference between PR and Cuan flags.

Also, you can usually tell by looking at the people if they are South or Central American. Usually Venezuelans and Colombian girls have similar looks (dark straight hair, tanned, but with European-looking faces, whicle Mexicans have more Chiense-looks (straigh hair, similar height, slightly slanted eyes, etc - the native Mexicans are descendants of Asian people). Finally Dominicans are darker skin and their Spanish is THE fastest in Central America. Puerto Ricans use words that are Spanglish. Stuff like "flushea". Ok, that comes from "flush" (the toilet) and is NOT a real Spanish word. PR accents are so easy to spot, there ain't no missing there!

I talked to people on a daily basis that live in Solvita , and they all say the same thing.. they can't stand the traffic and it seems as though they are living in a different country when they come out from behind the wall...Ya know I get along with everyone i have neigbors that are From peurto rico and they are great but ya know what they say.. they are sometimes ashamed at how their fellow PR act and talk , and most of them are not really from the island they are NEW YORKERS with Parents that are PR .. its a shame that Poinciana has come to this ....But We must lay blame on the APV and Avatar because things have really gotten out of hand with the building ( greed thats all its is with avatar they see MONEY ) and letting people buy homes that they in no way can afford....they just don;t care about this area anymore...and i really feel sorry for the older folks who where fooled into buying those nice expensive homes in solvita and promissed this and that with nothing to show for it yet... has anyone seen how many homes are for sale in Solvita alone its amazing.. and yet they are still building more to solivita ....When the builders started to build in here with the boom they really to advantage of alot of people ...people that may not speak very good english and has since gotten screwed with their morgtage when the ARMS adjusted .. shame shame on people who take adavantage of people ! which my friends in poinciana , white , black , yellow green pink ...what ever colore or creed you are , you my friend are also being taken advantage of by APV AND AVATAR.....just read the many responses by the so called "manager" of the APV in the local paper DENIAL !!!

oh yeah, we took our hosue of the market beacue im not willing to let it go for less than its worth... and I have no problem living here for the time being.. However my Freind has had her house on the market for i think about 8 months .. started out at about $290, 000 for 1900 on about .35 acres...newer home .. they have now lowerd their asking to $230,000..they want out.. can you tell ?!

I come from an interracial family I am Puerto Rican, Italian & Irish what about people like us where we have no dislike twas our own people or pretty much no one. People I dont know if you guys notice but soon the world will be known as OTHER it is sad that we are all put in categories we all bleed the same and look the same inside. dont get me wrong I feel that every race have there slums and every race have people that dont give a crap about there surrounding and tend to mess thing up for the community but you will notice these people will not be able to afford the good homes and schools So i feel that just because a certain race moves in your hood does not mean that your equity value is going to go down give people a chance we can live in a diverse world if people just gave chance a chance.

Several months ago, there was a body found near Vance Harmon Park, right near the center of Poinciana Proper, as it is. It was ruled as gang violence. Well, there's been another murder here. Last night, there was a body found - shot dead cold! - at the front door of the Food Spot, formally known as the Farm Store. No details yet, but...

All cities have their crime problems, but remember, POICIANA IS NOT A CITY, IT'S A LARGE SUBDIVISION, without any local; government, including police. The county does it's best, but can dedicate only so many resources. When will APV wake up and understand that they are impeading the HEALTHY grown of this community. Not Sure, I know that alot of the people in Solvita are also Un happy with Avatar ( thats why so many homes are up for sale)..We could start a Petition But im not even sure how to do that ?...Do we call the Congress people ?
should we ask a Lawyer?

Hi, I am going to be working in St. Cloud. I need to find an apartment, but most are income restricted. I don't meet these requirements...I started to look in Kissimmee. I found 2 apartments that I liked the look of, but I'm not so sure how safe the area is. They're on w. donegan ave in Kissimmee off of John Young Pkwy. Can you recommend a good safe complex in Kissimmee or St. Cloud? Thanks for your help.
