Default Which area of Orlando will suite me

Hi all, I currently reside in destin, FL and the boring small town life / job opportunities are really driving me mad..

Anyhow, I plan on moving to Orlando in Nov/Dec of this year. I am 23, single, good looking, and plan on working in the hotel/hospitality industry.

Now I have heard that winter park/ Oveido are nice places to live in Orlando.

My question is which part of Orlando is the closest to the major hotels? Im looking for 30 minute commute at most but I also do not want to live in the ghetto

I plan on living in an apartment and also on slowly finishing up my degree (so I will have a class or 2 at ucf)

Any opinions/recommendations are greatly appreciated

Try hunters creek it`s close to alot of the attractions and hotels and is a nice area. Or Williamsburg also both nice areas.

From both of those areas you can take the 417 to the 408 and be at UCF with in 30 mins give or take.

Vista Lakes or Lake Nona would also be good. You will be about 15 minutes from UCF, about 20 minutes from Universal/Sea World area or about 30 minutes from Lake Buena Vista/Disney. Both Vista Lakes and Lake Nona are brand new, very clean and modern.

Hunter's Creek, Metrowest, and Williamsburg would probably the best areas like Alpha said. Many people also live in Kissimmee and BVL (Buena Ventura Lakes)areas too, not as good as the others but definitely worth a look. Good Luck!!

Downtown - expensive but nice and urban,
Hunters Creek - nice close to the hotels
Dr. Phillips - yuppie nice and expensive, also close to hotels
Some places near Universal - Cypress on Vineland, Summergate on Conroy
Park Central isnt too bad in Millinea.
Celebration very close to WDW.

Winter Park and Oviedo are nice but not close to the parks.
I don't care for MetroWest -drive down the North side, check police reports
Those are my picks.
