Default How 'bout those tornados this morning!

I hope everyone is ok. Sounds like lots of damage in the Deland and Villages areas. It's not over - supposed to be bad weather through out the day, so let's stay safe.

Most of the Bad Weather has pushed off to the East thankfully. I feel sorry for those north of us. I hope FEMA steps up to the plate this time, rember the Christmas storm they wouldn't help.

Reports of several fatalities in the area. Terrible.

FEMA is RUN BY CRoOKS.. they gave all those cards away During Katrina to people that did not deserve them , so because of that stupidity eveyone suffers now!

Imagine having to pick through all of the debris just to find some of your things. I feel bad for those people, some of those houses were really destroyed. Over here in Citrus County the storms were pretty intense, but no tornados. Let's hope FEMA does step up to the plate and helps out those who need it.

Anybody know how Mt Dora faired with these storms? I know Lady Lake got smashed, but I haven't heard anything about Mt Dora. Until we move down there, I have no real way of making sure my house is ok. Just curious if anyone knew....thanks in advance.

I just was watching the local news...And Im stunned that Most of the homes that were Damamged in The Villages ARE NOT BLOCK. they ar wood Framed..
I feel for the people in these areas that were hard hit, but people need to do their home work when buying a home that is made of wood frame?

We will be moving to the Orlando area, southern Seminole County...how did that area do with the storms? Were the storms intense there or miss Orlando general area alltogether?

Very LITTLE damage in Seminole County. Nothing at all of what is on the news. A few broken limbs and branches down. Damage is along the lines of a "normal thunderstorm" in Seminole.
