Bad crime would be up in the NE, Boston, NYC, Detroit, Camden, Newark. But Orlando?? No. Granted I lived in Winter Park, which is the probably the best area of Orlando, but I never heard of a whole lot of crime. Can you honestly say that there is no safe good area of Orlando. I think you are full of it. I don't like Orlando, but you exaggerate.
Is this guy living in a closet?

Wakeup and read the paper.

Oh you know hun high crime, high grime...same as it ever was. I think this quote is pretty telling from our local newpaper website:

“As of March 19, 2007, violence has claimed the lives of 47 Americans in Baghdad since the start of the year. During the same period, violence claimed 61 lives in Baltimore, Maryland — most due to gunshot wounds. "

And keep in mind that was in March...we were up to 94 as of May 4th...I don't even know where we are now.

I don't know how many of you know this, but Google Ads runs ads that most closely conform to what is on the page you are viewing...the google ads for our local newpaper website were for Pepper Spray and Karate Lessons. Baltimore is not a town for the feint of heart.

61 Murders in baltimore....wow....i wonder if the population of your city has anything to do with the amount of murders....u wanna spread negativity about who has more murders then why not just keep it on the Baltimore page ?....

1108 is Baltimore's highest crime index on the city data statistics page and 1126 is Orlando's highest crime index rating on the city-data statistics page...and 2005 was when Orlando was a lot safer place then today.......please bring more to back up your arguement then the fact that your city just has older looking buildings......the sunshine and tropical look of Florida is decieving to outsiders ....

this brings up a good point, actually. the last info from city-data.com crime stats are from 2005. orlando's murder rate has doubled since then (i believe), yet our crime index is usually hovering around the 1000 mark. jax's is in the mid 500s

Juvenile crime is especially bad-these kids don't have any regard for anyone else or human life. There are no "safe" neighborhoods in Orlando anymore!!! It is sad such a beautiful place is going to h---!!!
DITTO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
