Default Used Books

I'm looking for a relly good used book store in the Kissimme/Orlando area. I just moved here this year from North Carolina. We had a really good one where I lived. They had every genre, plus they had used CD's, DVD's and games. I never paid more than $3.00 for a paperback and $8.00 for a hard cover. Any suggestions

Sorry, I don't know about used bookstores in Orlando, but would love to as we're moving there next year. We have a bookstore like the one you described here in Asheville, I think it's called Mr. K's used books...
Anyway, good luck ~ oh, and how are you liking Fl. ?

We had Half Price Books in Ohio which were awesome. None here though. I've only been here a couple of months, so I haven't come across any substitutes yet.

There's a nice one in Altamonte Springs on 436 W called Half-Off Books.
There is one in Winter Park called Book Treasures Used Bookstore.
There are a few stores here and there scattered downtown (3rd Floor Book Store on E Central) and on North Orange Ave as well.

Actually if you just google (used book stores) you will find dozens.

There's a used book place across from the Cumberland Farms on Bumby about halfway between Colonial and the 408.

The one in Winston was Edward Mckays. I miss them! So far Orlando is ok. With my work schedule I havn't really had time to explore.

Thanks everyone for your replies. I work in downtown so I will check the ones out that are near hear. I did find on on South Orange ave, but I didn't like the prices.

There's Legible Leftovers aka Cat's Meow in Longwood. It's a bit of a drive from Kissimmee, but it's a fantastic used books store.

ShawnEllise,
If you work downtown, the 3rd Floor Bookstore mentioned in a previous post is located in the public library on the corner of Central and Rosalind.

You know, I just went to that library for the first time a few weeks ago. I didn't know there was a book store in there also. Thanks!

There is a pretty good used book store in Kissimmee on the corner of 192 and John Young

Book Bargain
1506 W Vine St
Kissimmee, FL 34741
(407) 944-3600

With so many stores closing nowadays I would give them a call before going just in case.
