Hi Frank, can you tell me about leesburg area? i dont want to change the topic, but we are moving to Leesburg from Long Island, NY. My husband just got a job in Leesburg, FL and we have my husband's parents with us and I have a 6 month old son. Is there any indian community there? Please let me know, I appreciate it.

There is very little Asian community, let alone Indian anywhere in the Orlando area.

Dear Ramila,
I'm sorry.....I cannot really help much......I bought home here 2 years ago, but we do not live here full time yet, and we are only here a few months a year.
The Lake county welcome center's number is 352-429-3673. They may be able to tell you more.
Good luck!
Frank

Another "I'm from NY where the pizza is the greatest. Now I live in FL and the pizza stinks" thread.
Sorry Frank, I know your the mod here and my comment adds nothing to the thread, but man-oh-man this gets really irritating. Sorry for rant.

No problem.......but did you read this thread? It is almost a year old, and if you read any of my other posts in this thread on page one, you will see that I was careful NOT to write anything like your quote.
All I did was state a fact, that for it's size, there seems to be way less pizza places per capita down here. That is fine with me, because I do not need dozens of pizza places, I usually go to just few once I find those I like.
I also stated that life is all about trade-offs, and I DON'T want to make Florida into NY.....that is why I want to MOVE from NY to Florida. If course i'll miss some NY things, but I'll also get to know many great Florida things that I could never get in NY.
Also, please notice I'm from Western NY, hundreds of miles from NYC. We have lots of cows all over. I own acreage. I have a pick up truck. There is a whole big state called NY that is nothing like NYC.
I can't wait to make Florida my full time home......for us it will be an upgrade.
Frank

Hi Frank, no, I just read the first few posts and I just had to respond right away.
I like the way you talk of not trying to change things. Good for you. A lot of people dont see it that way, so you have to understand our frustration at times.
I have actually met a few people from rural NY and they are laid-back and friendly!

I just went back and read through the posts I didnt see. I think you were the only on who handled it that way. The rest were negative comments, so thank you for seeing what I and many others get aggrevated about.

Please explain to me how my comments were anything but factual and helpful. Hardly negative, and I never once mentioned NY or any other place.

Folks,
Let's keep to the subject.
Actually, the OP asked a specific question about the Leesburg area.
I'm sure that as I am here longer I will find more pizza places and hopefully one or two will become favorites.
Perhaps the lesson to be learned here is that when we find any place of business that we are very pleased with, to talk it up. Let them know you liked their service and will be back. Tell others of your positive experience.
Then hopefully the place will stick around and "make it".
Frank

I can vouch for this place. Good pizza at a reasonable price. Have you ever been to the Winter Garden Pizza Co. on Main St. in Winter Garden? That is pretty good as well!!
