I am seriously considering doing the online Masters in Business Entertainment program at Full Sail. I am very interested in Enterainment Law, contracts and the business side of the Entertainment business. A friend emailed me info on Full Sail and I'm considering it. However... it's very expensive. I'm scared I will go spend all that money and the degree will be useless.

If you've gone there or know someone who has, I'd like some info especially if you/they graduated with the same degree.

Thanks

Not sure it is worth it, I think its one of those strange trade schools where you spend a ton of money and its not very usefull. If you want entertainment law or buisness the best bet would be law school or MBA.

Both Barry and Florida A&M offer law schools in Central Florida. You may want to look into those.

Full Sail is a good school, but if you want to get into contracts, law school would be a better option.

When you say "business side," what do you mean? I'll give you a hint, you don't get into the music business without doing an unpaid internship in your field (booking, promotions, management, PR, radio, label, etc.) Knowing the right people can be pretty important as well.

Something like this might be better accomplished in a big city known for the entertainment industry like New York or Los Angeles; maybe even Chicago. You are more likely to meet the "right" people in those cities, than you would here in Orlando.

UCF has a legal studies program that is highly rated. That would be a better option.
