Not sure what you mean by laughing at "these" criminals in Orlando. Can you elaborate? I was raised to watch my P's and Q's, and I never had any problems with crimes in the years I lived there (knock wood). I just think a lot of what your hear about in Orlando can be avoided with just a little common sense.
I laugh because all I saw when I was down there was a bunch of wannabes I could see coming a mile away.
Crime is a serious issue there. And it seems to be getting the attention and response it needed to get now. But people are making it seem to be some crime ridden hell hole when I've seen a lot worse.

No, they are still wannabies. Wannabies commit these crimes to try to prove how "bad" they are.
There are cities smaller than Orlando just as rough or rougher. Like I said, go on over to the city vs. city section and see how bad people think Orlando is. It isn't even on most people's list.
If people are this concerned, they should get involved with things like community watch programs, and start voting for people who actually give a damn about the people of this community.
