Default Best Places To Buy a Scond Home

In my opinion Dr. Phillips and Windermere are great but you get way more bang for your buck in Davenport and Kissimmee with the added benefit of being able to rent it out as a short term rental down the road. You can't do that in Dr. Phillips and Windermere.

There are some nice areas of Clermont right along 27 an 192 that you would probably like. Here are some neighborhood names I reccomend you look into for a good house in your price range near Disney

High Grove (Clermont, zoned for STR use)
Legacy Park (Davenport, zoned for STR use)
Lake Berkley (Kissimmee, zoned for STR use)
and if you insist on Windermere than may I strongly suggest Summerport.

Best of luck on your vacation home quest!

Erica

I liked Celebration the best. I know it is more expensive but you pay for what you get.

We LOVE Disney World too, that's the main reason we moved here last month and love being so close
Windermere & Dr. Phillips are supposed to both be wonderful, safe neighborhoods. I personally recommend the Four Corners area too, it's definitely more affordable and some of the zip codes there have really low crime rates

Good luck !

Hi,
Did you decide on whether you want to rent it out when your not using it or not?

The southern part of Clermont might work for you, too. There are some gated communities about 20 minutes from Disney that have community pools and other amenities. You can get some bang for your buck over there.
