I agree with the statement that there is no other place like Orlando in the world.
That does not necessarily mean that it is the greatest place on earth or that there are not times it is boring or less exciting than other larger cities, but Orlando is unique and charming to me. The things that make it unique to me are not necessarily the nightlife or entertainment, but the charming neighborhoods and the climate and lifestyle it offers me.

Those children must have a lot of tourist dollars to spend -that's some allowance!
I'm 37

This weekend -

Going to see Frontiers: A Journey Tribute Band at The social tonight after eating at Bentos at the Solaire.

Tomorrow I am going to go buy tickets for Blue October's (hence the name!) show at the House of Blues in April. While at Downtown Disney I plan to see a movie and then eat lunch at Rainforest Cafe.

Tomorrow night I am going to Seaworld to see Hall and Oates at the Bud and BBQ festival (Which is included in admission, and with my season pass).

Sunday I am going to the Orlando History Museum to see the Jim Henson Legacy (Traveling Smithsonian Exhibit). The Jim Henson Legacy - Home Page

Yeah, God Orlando is just boring as heck! I wish I were a kid so I wouldnt be so bored

The answer to your question is yes, the parents of those children have lots of money. Have fun at Sea World.

As opposed to sitting on a messageboard telling people how boring Orlando is, I think I will have a great time at Seaworld, thanks!

For anyone that has never been to the Bud and BBQ fest, Seaworld has several booths throughout the park with various BBQ vendors and of course Budweiser. The concerts are free and just top off the festival.
Check it out - Bud & BBQ (http://www.budandbarbeque.com/swf.html - broken link)

74.95 for an adult. I have a 2 year pass that gets me into Sea World and Aquatica for $10 a month. Best 10 bucks I spend a month

Yes, it sounds like the two year pass is the better deal.

You do mean Miami Beach, right? The actual city of Miami is DEAD I think!
