Default Moving to the Orlando area from Chicago, IL

My husband and I will be relocating to the orlando area sometime this summer and are very excited. He will be working in the downtown area while I may work in Brevard county as it appears this is the only county hiring school psychologists at this time. Can anyone suggest an orlando suburb that may not be too far from titusville or from northern Brevard county. I realize that Brevard county is a bit far, but we are set on the Orlando area. It would also be great if anyone knows of school districts that may be hiring school psychologists. Thank you.

We are moving to Wedgefield. It's almost halfway between Orlando and Titusville. It's out of the way, very woodsy, and you get alot of acreage.

Christmas Florida is not that bad of a town and the prices of houses are pretty good. It is right between Orlando and Titusville so I think it would be worth checking out. However, the commute from Titusvillle (taking 50) or even Cocoa Beach (taking 428) area are not too bad and I know people who do it so don't rule those cities out completely.

Yes, I wouldn't mind commuting to Brevard county if it means that I will be working as soon we relocate to the Orlando area.

What is the average commute time between Orlando area suburbs and Brevard county, such as Titusville and Cocoa Beach?

It's about an hour from Orlando to Melbourne. Tutusville is also an hour or more. Melbourne and Palm Bay are central to Titusville, Cocoa, Orlando, Sebastian. The schools are trying to keep up with the exploding population. Orlando is already out of control. Everyone is coming to Melbourne and Palm Bay as it is still less crowded here than in Orlando. Homes are going for $100 - $125 a square foot. There are lots of "never live in " spec homes on the market here in Palm Bay for under $200K . Email me if need any more information.

Seabacon-

We decided to look at homes in Wedgefield. I don't see many home listings in that area. Do you have any suggestions as to where to look?

We can help you with homes in the Wedgefield area. We are about 40 minutes away. It's a country club community and the listings I see are in the $350K to $400 for 1600 sq ft.
email me if you have any questions

Wedgefield isn't that big. There are homes on the market and the prices look reasonable
