Just heard and felt the sonic boom from the shuttle's return! You can't get that in just any ole place!

But Four Corners is several miles from Clermont proper. It doesn't even seem to be a part of Clermont -- just the addresses are Clermont because it's still in south Lake County. It's too bad that area has such a reputation because generally, it's a nice area. I heard one time there were lots of illegals in that vicinity. Do you know if that's true?

There is the City of Clermont that ends about three miles south of route 50. That is the 34711 zip code. The 34714 Zip Code is also a Clermont mailing address, however it's in unincorporated Lake County. Because of the Clermont mailing address, people call it Clermont, although it's not in the City limits. The 34714 zip is the one on the sputh end of Lake County where it meets Polk, Orange, and Osceola in the area known as Four Corners.

I know that Osceola County is dealing with a very large illegal population, and I wouldn't be surprised if some is spilling into the southern 34714 area.

Default have lived in 34711 10+ years

We love it here. Out of all of the places we have lived in the past 30 years, this has to be our favorite.

In our subdivision, in 34711, not the city of Clermont, but county, although we are early retirees, our subdivision holds many young families, first time home owners, along with those who have sold & moved up in homes. Crime is non-existant, we have the same Lake County Deputy who patrol our area.

It's a location that I'm never afraid to walk in day or night or lock our cars in the driveway.
