I wouldn't take advice from someone who doesn't even know what an RN is.

That is bad, even by Florida standards.

You don't want to find yourself in the US with no health insurance. If you got sick here you could wipe out your life savings.

I would start to plan but hold off until the US sees an economic turnaround. Which could be a few years.

The health insurance issue was raised in my first point, I believe we are now past that. As for the RN, I do not see that as bad by any standards I believe that they are free to do what ever they want to do, and no one know their situation better then them. His wife is an American and if they want to semi retire in the sun, it is their choice! In the end, it is their call.

Umm...no. A registered nurse is an associate's degree. A LPN is licensed and only takes about a year. A BSN is a nurse that gets a bachelor's but it's not Bachelors of Arts (BA) it's a Bachelor's of Science (BS)

Nope. You can be an RN without a bachelors degree. And it would be a BS, not a BA.
