To get to South Orlando, I'm not sure how long it takes, but it's pretty much a straight shot on 528.
There are three public elementary schools, and one charter elementary school.
The three are Challenger, Enterprise, and Atlantis.
All of them seem very nice. The charter school is small, however.
I'm not sure about Homeowners insurance, but I could ask a family member if you still need it.
There are a few little shops here, a couple of gas stations in the middle of Port St. John, and one at the front, by US-1, and another at the end of PSJ on Grissom, towards Titusville. There are some resturants in the middle, as well as at the front.
Once you get past Grissom, heading towards I-95, there isn't too terribly much back there, just houses! Haha! Oh, there are three parks, one in the front [river, small playground], one in the middle[racket ball, baseball, basketball, and an actual playground], and another in the very back[lake with a parking lot].
There is also a Community center..I didn't even know where it was until after I had lived here for over three years! Haha!
There are a couple of doctors offices, an optometrist, a hardware store, a couple of pizza places, SubWay, a couple of Chinese resturants, etc.
It's pretty comfy here! : ]]
I like this community a lot! It's in a good proximity to Cocoa, Titusville, and Cocoa Beach/Cape Canaveral.
Perfection doesn't exist in anything...
There are two downsides, train tracks, and I-95.
Trains run at 2 A.M. and we all know what kind of traffic I-95 has.
Though, we aren't too terribly far from the Space Center and all of it's attractions.
