Like I said (again) he specifically wanted a pool--that was one of the only things he was really concerned with. Taking him to see homes without the #1 thing on his wish list wastes everyone's time.

Sometimes everything you want can't be reached in your desired price range. I was showing him what that price range brings. I saw that he wanted a pool and saw that you mentioned it several times. I am just trying to provide information. It is definitely not a waste of time. Free information is often very valuable. That is what I am offering. Sometimes, seeing the facts, helps you to adjust your criteria. Maybe seeing what is available in the $65,000 range in Clermont, will help him to adjust his price, criteria or look elsewhere.

Hi. SOrry I havent been back in a while. Yes, these were the specific condos I was looking at in Lake Mary. I am aware they are converted apartments. Does anyone on these boards have more information on these....

As for what we want...well like someone else stated...you cant always get what you want so I guess a pool can come off the "requirements".

We have set plans to come down this summer now.....

There aren't many places you can find in this country for $65k!

Is a newer mobile home completely out of the question? Those and older, fixer uppers are about the only homes you are apt to find in that price range, and they won't be in a gated community. If I were you, I would rent for a year or two and look around. The one you find in that price range won't be advertised anywhere.
