Lightbulb Okahumpka for work--where would you live?

My hubby is working for a company (in ATL) that has an office in Okahumpka. Because at some point I'm wanting my family to move back to Florida, I was just wondering--if you worked in Okahumpka, where would be the best area to live? Keeping the commute in mind as well. Thx!

Personally I think this needs to be in the General Florida area. You'd probably get more hits....

This being said....how big of a community do you want to live in?

Leesburg would be your biggest "city". You'll have just about everything you need there...shopping and Medical.

If you want a small town, Howey In the Hills (Rt 19) is very charming.

I agree with Granny Sue, Leesburg would be the biggest/closest city for you. Howey In The Hills is a nice little town, but it can be expensive compared to Leesburg. Sumterville and Yalaha are also small towns that are fairly close by. If you don't mind a 30 minute commute, I'd head towards Clermont.

If you want to be close to city life then the happy medium will be Clermont or monteverde / Winter Garden areas. These will minimize the commute but keep you closer to city life and the offerings of Orlando. If you like more rural then Leesburg, or Wildwood would be good options a well.
