...I can tell you that my sister is a 3rd grade teacher in Enterprise, Fl...(a small sub-division on the outskirts of DeBary)...she has taught now for 14 years...she has nothing but good to say about the 3 different schools that she has taught in, in this area. I attend as many City Council Meetings as I can, and we have teachers being awarded for their excellance in their teaching accomplishments...these teachers love their kids...and they go way beyond what is expected of them to insure a child is being well educated and fairly graded...crime around here is very, very low...the kids are great...sports is a biggie...competition between the schools is great fun!!! A lot of family support!! I don't know how they rate a school...so, all I can say is...my honest opinion is the schools around here are great...the teachers are great...the kids are wonderful!!

My mom lives in Lady Lake and we want to be closer to her, plus I hate the snow and cold weather we get.

I am a country girl...I love untouched, thick forests of green trees...moderate traffic...short stop lights...a whole, complete car to drive in the next morning...and peace and quiet. Other than that, Orlando is great...!...

Thanks, I am a big fan of sites like schooldigger.com and greatschools.com but I know there is always more to it. I like to get the whole picture from people who actually live in the district....by the way, I think the elementary schools looked great but the high school is what brought the district rating down (if I remember correctly).
