Aquatica is definitely our family's favorite - 2 kids areas, one for older and one for younger and 2 beaches/wave pools, one slower and one faster. Tow lazy rivers too, one slower and one faster. We can't get enough. Rides at Wet'n'Wild too much for my young kids.

Just watch for any thunderstorms in the forecast, which always show up late afternoon. You'd have to wait that out to take advantage of the evening hours.

Agreed. I forgot to post that. Thunderstorms are as predictable as unpredictable they are. if that made any sense.

One time we decided to wait out a storm at Wet N Wild. it was around 4pm we got there. The park cleared out completely besides about a dozen of us that waited out the 45 minute storm. They reopened everything in a light drizzle and we pretty much had the whole park to ourselves until 7-8pm (closed at 11pm that night) when people started to trickle back in. It was worth the wait.

Our whole family--6 of us--agree that we like Typhoon Lagoon the best. My kids are 15-22--typhoon lagoon is their favorite overall. My 2 kids still in high school like wet-n-wild for the number of thrill ride experiences, but it still ranks as #2.

Wetnwild is my favorite of all, has the most rides and not as much money.

We have been to all but the new Aquatica. We love wet n wild, simply because it has rides, wave pool, a kiddie area, and SAND. Pool was heated one time also. The bathrooms are not fancy but they have always been clean. Parking was easy also. Typhon is our fav of disneys. Not sure why.
We love discovery cove, but someone needs to build a water park like wet n wild and have snorkling. The snorkling at discovery cove my kids liked almost more than the dolphin swim.
