Default Villas at Lakeside-Oviedo

Hello-

I've seen some older posts which have been helpful but I was curious if the situation has changed much for this particular complex, if anyone is familiar.

I'm relocating back to the area from MA. & am very interested in obtaining a condo given the current market prices in the area. I'm very interested in Oviedo & the Villas look promising. I do realize these are foreclosures & have been doing a lot of research but would love to get some local opinions on the state of these condos at this point. Are they leaning more towards reverting back to apartments? Noticing a better trend?

I'm definitely looking to purchase with the intent of residing there for at least 5-10 yrs & would love to stay on the lower end of the cost scale at this point. I realize the possible pitfalls of owning a convert (i.e. soundproofing, construction, etc) but as I said, I'm going to reside here long term but want to be sure to not join an already sinking ship.

Thanks so much!
