My daughther is currently attending kindergarden in a Montessori School. However, she got accepted to study at Bethune Academy in Haines City, and I would like to inquire more information about this school.

Thank you.

Hello,

I have 3 children that attended Bethune Academy in Haines City.

Although I took my two children out after my oldest graduated from the 5th grade there, I would recommend you accepting the invite for your child. You can DM me for specifics on why I removed my remaining two.

The education they received was remarkable, I can't complain AT ALL with that. They are offered so much more than most schools and they are definately pushed to better themselves from day one of kindergarden.

They are a strict uniform school right down to the socks they are allowed to wear but they have a clothes closet if you need something. In the cooler weather they are only allowed the school jackets and sweater/sweatshirts as well which are expensive because they are only bought through Bealls and the uniform company.

They offer the kids so much more than an excellent education, music beyond your imagination, art, insane science, an imaginative P.E. coach and their monthly student of the month celebrations...all in all, an excellent choice for education for any child.

They are very strict and that may be hard on some parents but the kids really flourish and become very good little citizens. They take the FCAT VERY seriously so if you are worried about that, be prepared.

Basically I would recommend attending, at least for one year to see if you are happy with the way things are run. Then if you don't like it you can re-enroll your child back at the Montessori school, at least you would have given it a chance.

I have considered trying to get my two back in, if that says anything about the education they provide.

Hope this helps a bit, and good luck with your decision.
