No, Arden Villas apt is kinda nice, because of the armed security.
The area arou8nd it sucks, but that is another story. They moved to East Orlando to be near Trinity Prep.
Dude, you have no clue how my aunt is about education. She is a pain in the butt... she demands her daughters get the best education... even if they move to a crappy area.
I know, how absurd is that.

On our last trip to WDW, DW slipped and fractured her ankle. She was taken to Celebration Hospital. The care there was excellent (DW is in the medical field and knows good care when she sees it). The hospital looks like a resort. The rooms are big and clean and even the ER is nice. The only thing I will say is that the place did get a bit creepy at night. Big hospital with no one around. A bit wierd (we are use to bigger city hospitals where there is always some action going on) but again excellent. We did not get a chance to see Celabration itself. Hopefully one day we will. Jay

I agree - the hospital is amazing. I had 2 of my 3 children there.

For someone that loves the place.......
We love to go to Celebration.........we always went to "Barney's" now Starbucks and sat and had a coffee and read the paper, we are in the Orlando area for 3 weeks at a time and eat at Market St, and I am not sure where the hours wait for coffee comes from?>
The gas station is right outside the gates of "Celebration water tower" so I am not sure where the big issue is to go get gas............
I only agree with school system part, I guess after coming to Orlando for 17 years and checking things out and talking to alot of people, I have found out alot more............
I don't agree with paying such high costs for things the schools should of been opened to the general public, I mean if you live an area that's expensive why should they also get to go there free?!
We had the same issue when we lived in NH, our kids went to private schools, other than the local yocal ones to get better education, but in MA, living near Boston, I couldn't imagine taking my daughter out who's in middles school and having to bus her to a private school, if we bought in Celebration, enough running around!
Celebration does have alot to offer, we may just come down and rent for a few months to see what the real day to day things are like, I mean staying 3 weeks in Feb and 3 weeks in April really isn't enough time......
I love FL anyway, so I am just biased.....................
I was told by a waiter that worked in Town Tavern, (it's owned by a very well known Boston area resteraunt family, that had to go with "Town Tavern" instead of something Boston/Fenway Park oriented, but like anything else, they aren't complaining now.........after all they do take in the money from the "tourists" so what's a little name change?!
As for the new bookstore, you can't compare it to Barnes and Noble.....they don't offer coffee/tea beverages.......and what they have isn't that great.......
The town needs to have some re construction and add some more things in it, but like I mentioned above.....it's run very strict and by a handful or less of people......
We have used the Celebration Hosp over the years for my kids, and can vouch it's the best in the Orlando area.
What other hospital can you get brick oven pizza?!lol!
Too bad that issue with Goodings........but hopefully the community will allow more businesses to come in, there's a lot of people that need services and after working all day and lots of traffic.........there should be more to offer the residents........
just my thoughts from a part timer to Celebration who'd love to be there more often!

Whoa, that is awesome looking. I live in Tampa but have considered a move to Orlando. If I move, it would be to UCF as I am a srudent. However, moving to this town would rock after grad... it is freakin awesome looking.

Yeah, but isn't it better than the standard tract housing type developments that are all over Florida???

Celebration is a little cookie cutter town with overpriced property that all looks the same. If you want to live around all rich white republicans, I'd say this is the area. I'd rather fill my life with a little diversity i.e. other parts of central florida.
