I forgot Mirisol and some other areas like the Spring Park condos. I know the Mirisol condos hear a lot of noise due to the tile walks and they did have mold issues on the outside walls. Spring Park condos have some high fees too ($400+) as far as my realtor told us. At the prices of these ones I would look for a single family.

Default hope i can hel

Well im a realtor in the area and Celebration is one of the areas i specialise in. Its funny as my parents actually live in Siena and have a townhouse for rent there. If you want to buy anywhere in Celebration the association fees are quite high as your paying for the priviledge of living in the town Disney is. But it is beautiful. I can give you an example of my parents 3 bed 2 bath 1650 sq ft town home in Siena which is for rent. It overlooks the golf course and they want $1750 a month with a 1 month security deposit and first and last months rent in advance. This is typical of the area but you can find smaller places around in the area for rent.

If you want any more info on the area i would be more than happy to help or if your looking for something else i know a great rental company i could refer you to.

Happy hunting

Nick

Hi, I live in orlando but need to move close to Celebration. I'm getting a job transfer and I'm looking for an efficiency apt. I know rent in Celeb is very expensive. What area is close to Celeb but not too expensive?

Hi Nick.
I'm looking for something smaller, an efficiency or a 1 br apt. It don't have to be in Celeb but close to it. Let me know if you fiind something like that.
Thanks.

NickIndependence,

Since you are a specialist, can I ask you a question ?

If I buy a $500,000 house in Celebration what would the fees be each month on top of the mortgage ? I've done a couple of mortgage quotes on-line and they seem to add tax and something else each month ?

Really, I just want to find out what my costs would be if I had a $300,000 mortgage ?

Many thanks.

Were you under the impression that Celebration was somehow original?

It's an interesting concept, but it screams all the things those educated enough to realize begin to dislike about cookie-cutter America. I'm not saying that this sort of fecade isn't for everyone -- oh, quite the contrary, I'm sure many would jump at such an opportunity, but it's definitely not for me!

Keep in mind that Celebration has alot of condos and that is what drags the median price down. If you are looking for single family homes you wont find any that are remotely close to that price.

Even if you look at the price of condos in celebration at places like Mona Lisa, Mirasol, these are nowhere close to that median price range.
