Question Differences between Windermere and Dr.Phillips.

I had never heard of Dr. Phillips until today... what is the main differences in these 2 towns.? Which is safer? Which town is more desirable to live in??

Dr Phillips is really an area, where Windermere is a small town. That being said Dr Phillips is nearer to the shops, bars and reataurants. Both areas are very safe. I live in Dr Phillips in Bay Hill and its a lovely area. Plenty to do for younger people and very central.
Both areas pretty muh run into one another though.

It is a nice area, but some of the homes are super old. VERY expensive area.

Check the schools if you have kids, as they recently changed the school districts. You could be paying a LOT of a house and have crappy schools nearby.

Dr. Phillips is nearby Sand Lake road and is part of Orlando.

I agree, both areas are very safe and attractive. Real estate is quite expensive in both also. I think Windermere has a bit of an older and more quaint feel to it though.
