I am moving my family (three children ages 9, 12 & 14) to Oviedo the end of July. We are moving from out of state and I need to find a great pediatrician ASAP so that I can get the appropriate paperwork to get the kids registered for school here. Please help. I've searched the internet to no avail. THANKS!!!!

I'd just get it all done in the state you are in now rahter than trying to rush when you get here.

Definitely try to get the physical done with their current pediatrician if you can. That would give you some time to research and ask around about doctors. Plus, sometimes doctors can be very busy right before school and not be able to get you(your kids) in as a new patient, in time for school.

We've been here a couple of months and I still haven't settled on a pediatrician yet. I just brought my children's immunization records to the county health department to have them transferred to one of those blue forms that the public schools require for registration. I just registered my kids for school today and they accepted the physical forms from their out-of- state pediatrician. It just needs to be within the past year. Also, my younger son needed an extra shot for school and the health department gave it to him free of charge.

I just moved here also, and so long as they have current physicals and shots, you just have to do like was posted, go to the seminole county public health dept and get the records transfered to the 'blue form' (has to be done regardless and you have to go there regardless). so just get all your current records printed out before you leave and pick up the physical copies before you leave and bring with you in the car or suitcase so they don't get lost in the move. That is all you need as far as medical records for school..OK!
