Default Deltona

I noticed on the web there are some good deals on homes in Deltona right now. A good investment or bad?
Also what are the good and bad areas?

There are alot of great deals in Deltona. Deltona has it's good and bad areas just like any place else. It has a great central location. Easy access to Daytona Beach and Orlando. It could be a good investment in time. How long... nobody knows for sure. Deltona is a HUGE area and has a huge inventory of homes for sale now. It will take awhile for the market there to recover as well.

Bad...ask yourself, why would the area improve?

When choosing a city to invest, make sure it is a desirable area or somewhere with a good reputation. When choosing a specific property, also make sure it is in a desirable area of that city...good district, good schools, waterfront, views etc.

The #1 important thing when buying a home....location, location, location!
Did some homework and do not see that area ever improving! It is getting worse with crime as I have read and heard!
Deltona also has bad school systems, some of the worst in the state with lots of gang activity. Most being transplant gangs from NY.

What is so sad about this fact is that 15 years ago Deltona was basically "Mayberry". It stuns me to see so many great places destroyed around the Orlando area. I love the place, but I also realize that trash from other areas of the country have ruined some nice places in Central Florida. Who ever thought you would see so many murders and crime in Titusville?!
