I can't tell you anything firsthand, but I know that someone will come along who can. But for the meantime, you may want to read the reviews on it.

Does anyone know firsthand what the area is like? Sometimes I wonder if some of the people who don't write those reviews have had personal problems and just want to trash the apartments they had lived in. You know, like maybe they didn't like to pay their rent or something? But this complex seemed to have a few negatives reviews for it so it does make one wonder.

The area is the absolute pits. It is off Orange Blossom Trail (a/k/a. OBT a/k/a. death trap a/k/a. Hookerland).

Live there if you wish death or to be rapped and robbed. Oh and if you like strip clubs across the street and drive-by shootings on Sunday nights.

DOES ANYONE IN THEIR SANE MINDS LIVE IN ORLANDO AND THINK OBT IS A NICE AREA??? I think it is an extension of Hell on earth!

I am asking because I know how bad the area is (been in Orlando since high school) and I am afraid some nutcase will tell you OBT is nice.

I like the site for apartment reviews is a little misleading, usually it's going to be all the people that had bad expereinces for negative responses and all the positive responses are probably going to come from management. 90% of the time, in my experience, if you do a job well very few people tell you, however if you do a job poorly every soul tells you. So if they have 15 negative out f 100s of residents, I'd say that's not horrible.

With that said, i've heard that cottages at hunter's creek are nice, my friend used to live there (she moved back to the Northeast) but they are expensive.
