Yes i have and many of the good ones go back a few months or even 2 years that I could find.
Many things change in that time.
If it is not a bother for someone to just list their opinions on towns I would appreciate. Im sorry if it is a bother.

I was also looking at the Groveland area and yet even that i see in this forum people talking about gangs. It seems that every town and every area of Florida has gangs. My question is this what is it that Floridians consider gangs? Are you guys talking about kids hanging out in groups and just being annoying? Or gangs like we have in CERTAIN parts of NJ that are bloods and Crips? Even the gangs here dont go around causing that much trouble in those areas. Im only asking because every forum i have read including the searched ones! :>) Seem to be related to gangs in the area.
Is it over reaction or paranoia or is Florida just a flocking problem that will eventually be lost?

Where will you be working? Groveland is a LONG commute to much of Orlando. I think where you'll be working is the next key question before we can give you realistic answers.

Depends on the clients homes. My wife will be working near Collegiate Way in Orlando but she could be working in a clermont location also. Im more worried about her not me as im used to the drive. We are looking for just something with .25 or more in land and something where my kids when they get older can have some nice memories. Not gang color wearing or drug dealing problem areas if you know what i mean. I dont mind rural as long as i can get to some life in 15 minutes or so. I.E. Stores, theaters, grocery's etc.
I saw an area called St.Cloud and Oviedo as well as Groveland. I was looking at all 3 because they are in our price range. But got scared when people started talking about in other posts about gang problems. But again I dont know what Floridians consider a gang. I dont mind bored kids being kids. Its another to see hoppers on the corner selling crack. "hoppers" are dealers
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm a solid 15 minutes closer to the Turnpike than any Groveland location would be, and it takes me an hour to get to the UCF area on a Saturday with no traffic, have to plan on 90 minutes during rush hour. So add 15-20 minutes to that out in Groveland. No thanks, that's crazy!
There are some gang problems in Groveland, but they are mostly isolated between the ag workers. Florida ganga are the same as NJ gangs, CA gangs, we're not talking about bored kids, but true gangs. A member of the Crips was just arrested for soemthing in Orlando earlier this week. There are drugs here as well, meth seems to be the drug of choice lately.
The east side of Groveland has a couple of nicer communities, but some of them are only half built because the developers went belly up. So you definitley need to use caution.
Oveido will give you the best schools of the three and will be the closest drive to teh UCF area.
