Anyone here live in University Housing off Alfalfaya? (I am from "up north" so I am not sure how to write it........
This seems to look good, gated.........and alarms for the students.

Suggestions anyone?

PS After eons of wanting to move to Celebration, we now like Dr Phillips area/Sand Lake area, anyone suggest any short lease places in that district?
Thanks!
I haven't heard great reviews about on-campus housing...of course, these reviews have come from students. I lived in Arden Villas for a while - they were not like living at home, but were a whole lot better than my dorm room (of course, that was a LONG time ago)! AV is only 3-4 blocks from campus entry - not the least expensive place I've ever stayed, but was OK. I would not recommend the University Housing on Alafaya Trail - that seems to be where the majority of pranks (sometimes with BAD results) seem to happen.

One idea....immediately across the street from the new UCF staduim is the University Carillon Methodist church...they have a strong student ministry and may have some good suggestions if you contact their college ministry dept.

We are both in our late 20's - early 30's and want to move to a place with a fairly young population, and hopefully a good supply of women around the same age as we are both single.

However, employment and living conditions are more important than the number of women living in the area.

Any information you can give us about the job market and general area of Orlando will be helpful.

Thank you
My condolences.

Orlando's Hi-Tech jobs are kinda.... well... NON-EXISTANT! My stepdad had to move to TX to get a tech job and he is a senior programer and he even good with mainframes. The ONLY one job he was ever able to get in Orlando paid him almost $30,000 LESS than the tech job he easily got in Texas.

Not to mention, the city is getting overpopulated, very violent, and dirty in a lot of areas. Illegal alien violent street gangs are gaining a lot of momentum.

If you like illegal alien girls, man you will meet a ton of them. Just promisse them you will marry them so thyey can get their Green card and you will "close a lot of deals", so to speak.

NOT that I condone such practice, but that is very common in illegal alien-infested areas such as Orlando.
