Has anyone worked for Wyndham Vacation Ownership or know anything about them? My husband was offered a job there in IT. The best way to research a company is to get the real deal from someone who works there!
Is it far from Avalon Lakes area? Thanks in advance for any help! |

Wyndham used to be "CENDANT TIMESHARE RESORT GROUP". This is/was a large timeshare company that uses high presure tactics to try to get people to purchase "time" at one of their condos. It's one of the biggest perfectly legal rip-off's around.

vault.com has a lot of information about companies. They also have a message board to find out information.

No, but I hear they pay very well.
The problem is the usually prefer to hire illegal aliens, but I also heard ICE raided them not long ago, so who knows! One thing I will say.... NEVER BUY A TIMESHARE OR VACATION OWNERSHIP YOURSELF! IT IS THE WORST INVESTIMENT YOU WILL EVER MAKE!! |

If you're not a illegal alien in Orlando there isn't any jobs. Ask Nirvnan-guy.

Have you tried Linkedin.com? It's a great tool for getting info on companies. I have been working on the networking features and find it very helpful once you build a network. Just a thought..

I used to work for their one of the Wyndham Hotel Group call centers in SD. I absolutely hated it. They pressured people into upgrades they didn't want or need and treated their employees like cr*p. The only reason anyone actually continues to work there is if they have no other job experience, no other job skills, and no other choice. Don't know about their timeshare agency, but I would be very wary about it because companies tend to treat all employees no matter what station/department fairly equally.

I was considering working in Time Shares because I heard the $ is great but I can only work where I am happy and where I can genuinely help others. Are there any TS companies that are better than the others? I was looking into West Gate or Marriott. Can anyone please advise
Thank you |
