hows the music there? what's the most popular live style going around, and what about the future? any music growth? also,
-whats the comparison between them (you could also add tampa/jax b/c theyre in state)..., in terms of a live band playing gigs, recording songs, trying to establish a following, not necesarily a record deal / contract....also, cost of living vs. higher wage? (this is for the music aspect, making money doing gigs, selling merch.)..anytips on internet based work (to help supplement) would be great. thanks people.

Raggeton is probably the most popular in Orlando now.

What are you talking about? I go out downtown literally every weekend, to numerous bars and clubs, and almost never hear Raggaeton. It is by far one of the least played types of music in the main venues downtown. Maybe if the thread read, what do you hear blaring out of crappy, beat up cars you might be on the right track.

Agreed. I'd say that hard rock and hip hop/house are the two things you'll hear the most at the clubs and bars in this area.
