Orlando zip codes for familes and safety
exactly what i want to know are the zip codes so i can see home values in these areas must be family oriented areas with lower crime rates, i know orlando crime is fairly spread, just trying to get some ideas here...
i posted another question on orlando lakes if you could respond to that one as well if you know it.....

The easy first search would be almost anything in Seminole County - 32701, 32714, 32708, 32765, 32766, 32779, 32773, 32750, 32703, 32712, etc.
The areas in Orlando would be 32832, 32827, 32819, 32836, 34786, 34787,
The areas of Orlando that are nice/safe, but are more urban so they may not be what you are looking for your family are 32804, 32803, 32806, 32812, 32789, 32751, and 32814.
Some so so areas are 32825, 32817, 32824, 32837, 32835, 34761, 32821, 32828, 32829, 32818, 32707, 32792.
Avoid 32805, 32839, 32809, 32811, 32810, 32807, 32808, 32822.
I know I left a few areas out. Clermont, most of Lake County, Reunion, DeBary and DeLand are some nice areas further out as well.

The following data is from the Orange County Crime Map. The zip codes listed below all have 1% or less of the total crime in Orlando and are very safe neighborhoods. I have lived in both 32829 and 32792 over the last 25 years and never had any safety/crime concerns.
32827 Lake Nona
32836 Dr. Phillips
32829 Lee Vista
32833 Wedgefield
34786 Windermere
32832 Lake Hart/Moss Park
32751 Maitland
32814 Baldwin Park
32792 Winter Park
34734 Gotha
32709 Christmas
32789 Winter Park

I would add Winter Springs - 32708, Lake Mary - 32746 and Longwood -32779
And of course there are pockets like Deer Island, Bella Colina and so forth. |
