Orlando Summer Housing Needed - 1 mo only (budget, apartment)

Hi all,

I'm a graduate student who will be visiting Orlando this summer, for one month (mid July to mid August). I'm looking for a 1-2 Bedroom apartment/condo/townhouse (preferably furnished) in an area near Orlando Regional Med Center.
Does anyone have any recommendations on where to look?? So far I've had a very difficult time finding places that will rent on such a short-term basis, and I'm not very familiar with the area.
Will consider any options - condo, townhouse, extended stay hotel, etc.
As a student, my budget is fairly limited but I can pay a reasonable fee.

Have you tried roommate.com? Someone might be willing to take you in for one month. An extended stay hotel would be expensive for 30 days.

My husband will come with me, so roommate.com is probably not a good option for us.

Does anybody know how far UCF is from ORMC? And, does anybody know a forum where UCF students might post re: sublets?

Or any other Orlando colleges?

The extended stay hotel options I found are indeed out of our budget, since we'll be staying for about 30 days (they seem to run $2000+).

Looking for ANY other ideas...

Try craigslist.com ORMC is not to far from UCF - 15 miles or about a 25 minute commute.
