Moving to Orlando (University, Oviedo, Winter Park: environment, work, new home)

Hi everyone...
My husband and I and our three children are looking at moving to Orlando sometime this summer from Dallas, Texas. We would like to live somewhere on the south east side of Orlando and I am wondering if anyone has any suggustions on nice places to live and how to find out about them? We are just looking for a nice, middle class community with good schools and a safe environment. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!!

Lake Nona is very nice. Vistal lakes is very nice and affordable. Just google orlando vista lakes and lake nona orlando and you can find the websites

Is a good neighbourhood Nelson Park Cir?
I'll work near Winter Park, probably in University Boulevard and I would prefer a short commute, but we want a nice middle class community with good schools and a safe environment.

Its not considered SE but its NE in Oviedo. We just bought a house there and the schools are awesome. Its close to most everything but still has a small town feel. No crime whatsoever. Drive through and see what you think.

Everyone's posts are accurate. Those areas are perfect for a middle class families. Just remember the more outskirts of Orlando are always moderately priced and slower communities which brings less crime. I recommend the Narcossee area because of great prices. both have excellant school systems and are safe convenient places....close to shopping and the major hiways that lead every where ie the beach, disney and universal sea world etc. good luck
