Just wondering, I'm livin in a puerto rican area of Chicago right now (Humboldt Park in case u were wondering), and was wondering what the PR neighborhoods were like down there. Bad? Good? Which neighborhoods are they?

"How are the Puerto Rican neighborhoods in Orlando?"

abundant.

But on a more serious note, there are quite a few areas - they are not the safest places in Orlando to live in.

Orlando is 2nd in PR population behind NYC, so if you're looking for PR neighborhoods, you'll have no trouble at all. I'd stay out of Azalea Park and Union Park though. Pretty riffy-raffy.

They are good neighborhoods. The only problem is younger Rican guys like to get into the gang lifestyle. Smoking weed everyday, stealing cars. Gang fights. Its really a shame because these guys are privelaged and they are just trying to be cool and fit in, but they end up messing up their lives.

I'm talking about Meadowwoods, South Chase, Hunters Creek.

I've been to Humbolt Park and Rican neighborhoods down here are worlds better.

I think most of South and East Orlando could be considered a "Puerto Rican" neighborhood. This includes decent areas like Waterford, Rio Pinar, Wyndham Lakes, South Chase, Hunters Creek, etc. to so so areas like Goldenrod, Andover, etc. to bad areas like Oak Ridge, Sky Lake, Azalea Park, Buena Ventura Lakes, ... None of these areas have horrible crime levels but there is a difference in the upkeep of the homes and neighborhoods, the class of people etc.

I agree. Although I live in the Waterford Lks/Avalon Pk area, and we do have some horrible crime incidents. You hit the nail on the head with your "class of people" comment.

Waterford Lakes is no crime hot spot, there isnt gang activity there, or violent drug related crimes. When crime occurs here its random things, like two guys who got in a fight at a college party and one got stabbed and died. That is very different from a drive by that you could see in pine hills. Also Waterford lakes does not have the same class as people in Azalea park. think again.
