My family from Ireland visited in April and stayed at Liki Tiki Village in Kissimmee, off 192. It seemed a little tacky, but I know the place had a great "water park" type area.

The Clarion is about 30 minutes from Disney. It is right off the Florida Turnpike (Kissimmee 192 Exit).

Hi,
We stayed at the Nick this past spring break. pool was not dirty, rooms clean, my kids loved it. my hubby even got slimmed. its expensive and the rooms are not huge like what we get when we stay in condo's, but we are not in the room long. we like 2 bathrooms so generally we dont stay there, but we only took 3 of our kids this time and hubby was off working, so it we stayed in the pool.
if you want to just do the hotel after swimming with the dolphins (we loved it too), then stay at the Nick. Tho we love wet n wild also....lived there one trip...
oh, skip the breakfast....too expensive for what you get.

After reading this thread I stayed at the Marriott World Center for the 4th of July weekend and we loved it... we were able to see the fireworks right from our balcony.

Thanks everyone!
